Last updated : February 9, 2026

Connecting your e-commerce store to Lexiik is the first step toward automated SEO optimization. Learn how to synchronize Shopify, WooCommerce, or PrestaShop in just a few clicks with the Lexiik Bridge.

First-time setup?

The connection typically takes less than 5 minutes. The Lexiik Bridge automatically handles bidirectional synchronization without any complex technical steps.

Choose your connection method

Lexiik offers two connection methods depending on your e-commerce platform. The Lexiik Bridge (native module) is recommended for its 10x superior performance compared to the standard API.

Premium Feature

The Lexiik Bridge is included free of charge in all plans, including the Free plan. It uses native webhooks for instant synchronization.

Connect a Shopify Store

Shopify is the simplest platform to connect thanks to its app ecosystem. The Lexiik Bridge can be installed directly from the Shopify App Store.

Installation in 4 Steps

  1. 1
    Access the Lexiik dashboard

Click on "Connections" > "Add a store" > Select "Shopify"

  2. 2
    OAuth Authentication

Enter your Shopify domain (example: mysite.myshopify.com). You will be redirected to Shopify to authorize access.

  3. 3
    Required permissions

Lexiik requests read and write access to products, images, and SEO metadata. Accept to continue.

  4. 4
    Initial synchronization

The Bridge automatically imports your full catalog. Allow 2-5 minutes for 1,000 products.

Success

Once connected, the Lexiik Bridge monitors your Shopify catalog changes in real time. Any product creation, modification, or deletion is instantly reflected in Lexiik.

Connect a WooCommerce Store

WooCommerce (WordPress) requires installing a server-side plugin. The Lexiik Bridge for WooCommerce is compatible with WordPress 5.8+ and PHP 7.4+.

Technical Requirements

  • WordPress 5.8+ with WooCommerce 5.0+
  • PHP 7.4+ (recommended: PHP 8.1)
  • cURL extension enabled
  • HTTPS required for API security
  • Write permissions on wp-content/uploads/

Plugin Installation

  1. 1
    Download the plugin

From your Lexiik dashboard, download lexiik-bridge-woocommerce.zip

  2. 2
    Install via WordPress

WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin > Choose the ZIP file

  3. 3
    Configure the API key

Activate the plugin, then paste your Lexiik API key (available in Lexiik > Settings > Integrations)

  4. 4
    Launch synchronization

Click "Sync Now". The plugin will create a webhook for future updates.

Warning

If you are using a WordPress cache (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache), make sure to exclude the URL /wp-json/lexiik/ from the cache to avoid synchronization conflicts.

Connect a PrestaShop Store

PrestaShop requires installing a module through the administration interface. The Lexiik Bridge is compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.6+ and 8.x.

Module Installation

  1. 1
    Download the module

From Lexiik, download lexiikbridge.zip for PrestaShop

  2. 2
    Install via the back-office

Modules > Module Manager > Upload a module > Select the ZIP

  3. 3
    Enable the PrestaShop webservice

Advanced Parameters > Webservice > Enable the PrestaShop webservice (Yes)

  4. 4
    Create a PrestaShop API key

Add a new key > Check all permissions (products, images, categories) > Save

  5. 5
    Configure the Lexiik module

In the Lexiik Bridge module, paste the PrestaShop API key + your Lexiik API key

Good to know

PrestaShop requires a bidirectional configuration: a PrestaShop API key (for Lexiik to read/write products) and a Lexiik API key (to authenticate requests).

Verify the Connection

Once the Bridge is installed, verify that synchronization is working correctly by following these validation steps.

Connection Tests

  • Synchronization status: In Lexiik, go to "Connections". The status should display ● Connected
  • Product count: Verify that the number of synchronized products matches your active catalog
  • Last synchronization: The date should be recent (less than 5 minutes after installation)
  • Modification test: Edit a product in your store and verify it is updated in Lexiik within 30 seconds

Tip

To test bidirectional synchronization, modify a description from Lexiik (using AI for example) and verify that the change appears in your store.
