Interpreting Dashboard Charts

Last updated : February 9, 2026

The Lexiik dashboard transforms your SEO data into clear and actionable visualizations. Learn how to read each chart to make the right decisions and drive your data-driven strategy.

Real-time updates

All dashboard charts refresh every 6 hours to give you an up-to-date view of your performance.

Chart: SEO Score Evolution

This line chart shows the evolution of your overall SEO score (0-100) over the selected period (7, 30, 90, or 365 days).

How to read the curve

  • Steady upward slope: your optimizations are producing consistent results. This is the ideal scenario!
  • Step-by-step progression: each step corresponds to a wave of optimizations (e.g., bulk batch of 50 corrected products).
  • Horizontal stagnation: you have reached a plateau. Time to move on to advanced optimizations (semantics, internal linking).
  • Sharp drop: alert! Possible technical regression (broken CMS update, deleted products, etc.).

Watch out for false signals

A score drop after adding new products is normal: unoptimized new products temporarily lower the overall average.

Color Zones

The chart uses a color code to indicate the health of your score:

  • 0-40 (Red): critical, urgent optimization required
  • 41-60 (Orange): insufficient, much work to be done
  • 61-75 (Yellow): fair, but improvements are possible
  • 76-85 (Green): good level, you outperform 70% of your competitors
  • 86-100 (Blue): SEO excellence, top 5% of the market

Chart: Organic Traffic

This bar or line chart displays the number of organic visitors (excluding ads) over the selected period.

Identifying Trends

Here is what different patterns reveal:

  • Exponential growth: your optimizations are working, Google is boosting your visibility
  • Isolated spike: one-time event (viral article, press mention, trending topic)
  • Recurring dip: seasonality (e.g., natural decline in August, peak before Christmas)
  • Gradual decline: warning signal, check your rankings and the competition

Correlation with optimizations

Overlay the dates of your bulk optimizations with the chart to measure the actual impact. Generally, the effect shows up 2-4 weeks later.

Traffic Segmentation

The detailed chart allows you to filter traffic by:

  • Source: Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo
  • Device type: desktop, mobile, tablet
  • Geolocation: country, region
  • Search type: brand (your brand name) vs generic (product keywords)

Premium Feature

Advanced segmentation and multi-criteria filters are available on Expert and Enterprise plans.

Chart: Average Ranking

This chart displays your average position in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). The lower the number, the better (position 1 = first place).

Analyzing Variations

  • Downward curve: you are gaining positions (well done!)
  • Upward curve: you are losing positions (action required)
  • High volatility: Google is testing different positions, stabilization in progress
  • Stability at 1-3: SEO dominance, continued effort required to maintain

Good to know

Major Google updates (Core Updates) can create temporary fluctuations. Lexiik automatically alerts you when these major events occur.

Product View

Click on the chart to display the detailed list of your products with:

  • Current position
  • 30-day trend (green or red arrow)
  • Targeted keywords
  • Estimated monthly search volume

This view allows you to quickly identify products to prioritize: those in positions 11-20 (page 2) that could easily move to page 1 with a few targeted optimizations.

Chart: Catalog Optimization Rate

This donut or gauge chart displays the percentage of optimized products in your store. A product is "optimized" if it exceeds a 70/100 SEO score.

Reading the Gauge

  • 0-25%: just starting, lots of untapped potential
  • 26-50%: progressing, keep up the momentum
  • 51-75%: good coverage, focus on remaining strategic products
  • 76-100%: mature catalog, move on to advanced semantic optimization

Tip

Prioritize optimization of best-selling products and high-traffic pages to maximize quick impact on your revenue.

Progressive Goals

Lexiik offers realistic monthly goals based on your optimization pace and catalog size:

  • Month 1: reach 30% optimized products
  • Month 2: move to 55%
  • Month 3: reach 75%
  • Month 4-6: aim for 90% with a focus on quality

Comparative Chart: Before/After

This chart overlays two periods to measure the evolution of your performance:

  • This month vs last month
  • This quarter vs previous quarter
  • This year vs last year

Compared Metrics

For each KPI, the chart displays:

  • Current value (main curve)
  • Previous period value (gray dashed curve)
  • Difference in % (green if positive, red if negative)
  • Trend (directional arrow)

Practical use case

You launched an optimization campaign in December? Compare January vs December to measure the actual impact on traffic and conversions.

Heatmap: Performance by Category

This heatmap visualization displays your product categories with a color code based on their average SEO score.

How to Read the Heatmap

  • Dark green: excellent categories (score 80+)
  • Light green: fair categories (score 60-79)
  • Orange: categories to improve (score 40-59)
  • Red: critical categories (score <40)

This view allows you to quickly identify neglected categories and prioritize your optimization efforts by catalog segment.

Premium Feature

The advanced heatmap with drill-down to level 3 subcategories is available on the Enterprise plan.

Chart: Core Web Vitals

This triple chart displays the 3 web performance metrics monitored by Google:

  • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): loading time for the main content
  • INP (Interaction to Next Paint): responsiveness to user interactions
  • CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): visual stability of the page

Performance Zones

Each metric uses a zone system inspired by Google:

  • Green zone: "Good" - keep it up
  • Orange zone: "Needs Improvement" - action recommended
  • Red zone: "Poor" - urgent optimization needed

Export and Advanced Analysis

Export Data

All charts can be exported in the following formats:

  • PNG/SVG: for your PowerPoint presentations
  • CSV: for Excel / Google Sheets
  • PDF: complete report with all charts
  • JSON: integration with your BI (Business Intelligence) tools

Chart Annotations

You can add custom annotations to charts to mark important events:

  • Marketing campaign launch date
  • Major catalog update
  • Bulk optimization of 500 products
  • CMS or theme change

These markers help you correlate actions and results to refine your strategy.

Tip

Annotations are visible to all team members who have access to the dashboard, facilitating collaboration.

Automatic Visual Alerts

Lexiik automatically adds visual alerts to charts when:

  • A metric crosses a critical threshold (e.g., score <50)
  • A sharp drop is detected (more than 20% in 7 days)
  • A monthly goal is reached (celebration!)
  • A Google update impacts your rankings

These visual markers (alert icons, grayed-out areas) allow you to instantly spot important events without analyzing each curve in detail.

Mobile Dashboard

All charts are responsive and optimized for mobile/tablet. On small screens:

  • Complex charts switch to "simplified" mode
  • Tooltips appear on tap (touch)
  • Legends are positioned at the bottom
  • Axes automatically adapt

Good to know

The Lexiik mobile app (iOS/Android) offers a native experience with push notifications for critical alerts.
