Quick access
Upgrade to a higher plan
The upgrade (switching to a higher plan) takes effect immediately after confirmation. You instantly benefit from the new limits and features.
Upgrade procedure
- 1Access settings
In your dashboard, click on your avatar (top right corner) > Settings > Subscription tab
- 2Select the new plan
In the "My current plan" section, click Change plan. A modal opens with all available plans.
- 3Review the prorated amount
Lexiik automatically calculates the proration: the remaining amount of your current subscription is deducted from the new plan. You only pay the difference.
- 4Confirm the upgrade
Click Confirm upgrade. Payment is processed immediately via your registered payment method.
- 5Verification
Your new plan is active! Verify that the new limits are displayed correctly (number of products, AI credits, etc.).
How does proration work?
Proration ensures you never pay twice for the same period. Here is a concrete example:
Calculation example
- Current plan: Starter (49€/month), billed on the 1st of each month
- Upgrade date: January 15 (mid-cycle)
- New plan: Pro (99€/month)
Amount calculation
- Remaining Starter credit: 49€ × (16 days / 31 days) = 25.16€
- Pro cost for 16 days: 99€ × (16 days / 31 days) = 51.10€
- Amount to pay immediately: 51.10€ - 25.16€ = 25.94€
Starting February 1st, you will be billed 99€/month (full Pro plan rate).

Downgrade to a lower plan
The downgrade (switching to a lower plan) takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You continue to benefit from your current plan until the renewal date.
Downgrade procedure
- 1Access settings
Settings > Subscription > Change plan
- 2Select the lower plan
Choose the plan you wish to downgrade to (example: Pro → Starter)
- 3Review the limits
Lexiik alerts you if you exceed the new plan's limits (number of products, stores, etc.). You will need to adjust before continuing.
- 4Confirm the downgrade
The change is scheduled for the end of your billing cycle. A confirmation email is sent to you.
Warning
Managing limit overages
If you downgrade to a plan with fewer products/stores than you currently use, Lexiik asks you to choose which items to keep active:
Example: Downgrade Pro (3 stores) → Starter (1 store)
You currently manage 3 stores. During the downgrade, Lexiik asks you to select the store to keep active. The other 2 will be archived (data preserved, but synchronization disabled).

Refund upon cancellation
